Good Entrepreneurs are Good Readers.

I've found that no matter what I read, the act of reading every day has helped me in nearly every aspect of my life. Here are a few of my favorite ways that reading has improved my quality of life, and will definitely improve yours.

1. Enhanced Smarts

Wow, this may be the most obvious statement of the post, right? Well, it turns out that reading helps in almost every area of smarts. Those that read have higher intelligence, and general knowledge than those that don’t.

No matter what you’re wanting to do or become, you can’t do it without more knowledge. Reading is an excellent way to get where you’re wanting to go.

2. Reading Reduces Stress

When I’m reading a book, my mind shifts gears. Where I might have a had a stressful day, a book can easily distract me. Fiction is fantastic for this. Reading an awesome fiction book is perfect right before bed time. Though sometimes it’s hard to put the book down if it’s really good. Still, you’ll be relaxed ;)

3. Greater Tranquility

Reading can soothe like no other. Given that I’m a pretty high-energy person, reading forces me to sit and be still. This daily act of making myself be quiet and still has been nothing short of miraculous for my anxiety and my “fidgety factor”.

4. Improved analytically thinking

That’s right, ladies and germs. Cunningham’s studies have found that analytical thinking is boosted by reading. Readers improve their general knowledge, and more importantly are able to spot patterns quicker. If you can spot patterns quicker, your analytical skills receive a boost.

5. Increased vocabulary

It’s no secret that reading increases your vocabulary and improves your spelling, but did you know that reading increases your vocabulary more than talking or direct teaching? Reading forces us to look at words that we might not have seen or heard recently at the pub. In fact, language in children’s books are likely to be more sophisticated than your average conversation.

Increased vocabulary is especially crucial for bloggers or writers. All successful writers will tell you that in order to write well, you need to read. Every day. You’ll be surprised at the words you start incorporating into your writing.

A beefier vocabulary isn’t just for writers though. Knowing what other people are saying and using the perfect words to convey your feelings is a critical part of being a better human. Better listeners are more successful in life.

6. Improved memory

I have an awful memory. Just ask my fiancee. I usually can’t remember what I’ve eaten for breakfast, let alone things like names and addresss. Yet I’ve been finding that I can remember stuff much easier when I’ve been reading consistently. Do I have any scientific data to match this up? Not really. But I’d say it’s a pretty safe bet that reading has somehow given me memory boost.

7. Improved writing skills

This isn’t much of a stretch, considering that reading improves vocabulary and critical thinking. I feel like a better writer, as I’m constantly surrounding myself with works from people who are better than me. That’s why English classes in High School make you read “the classics”. That’s why art students learn to copy masterpieces, so they know what creating something incredible should feel like.

The more you read, the better of a writer you’ll become.

8. Helps prioritize goals

Many times we’re certain we know what we “really want” in life. Yet I’ve found that activities like reading show me things I didn’t know about myself. My mind will drift to things that I’d really like to do, and it isn’t long that these little lapses in reading start to cycle. The same sort of goals keep popping into my head, allowing me to see what I really want to do.

For example, I’ve been playing music on a consistent basis, but I’ve always wanted to produce and distribute my own music. As I’ve been reading, I’ve found that song ideas and other general thoughts on music keep popping into my head. It’s my times reading that have really pushed me into giving music a serious go.

When you remove yourself from your work environment, you’ll start to see things that you might really want to do, that you’re not doing yet. Reading gives you a chance for your to wander.

No time? No money?

If you think that you don’t have enough time to start reading, you’re wrong. How do I know? Because we make time for the things that are important to us. How much TV do you watch? How much time do you spend trawling the web/FB? You could easily replace reading with those activities.

If you’re worried about the cost of books, check ‘em out at the local library. Most libraries take advantage of the interlibrary loan system, so you can check out nearly any book on the planet.

There’s really no excuse to start reading on a regular basis. The benefits far outweigh the costs, and more knowledge never hurt anybody. One who Read also Lead.....

Failure is the Father of Success.

 Hare Krishna
Paradoxically, failure has a lot to do with being successful. Failure is inevitable and almost required to achieve success. Ask any successful person about his/her failures, and prepare for a long conversation.
One of the keys to success is how you choose to respond to failure. How you manage failures will directly determine your ability to succeed.

You got to learn how to fall, before you learn to fly” -Paul Simon

This means that most successes will be preceded by a series attempts that didn’t quite produce the results we were hoping for. With that in mind, it seems like the course of wisdom is to develop a healthy respect for whole learning process, not just the final result.

It’s a simple and inherent truth about failure, but so many neglect it: Failures give us the opportunity to start with a fresh and a smarter approach.

It’s not how many times you get knocked down; It’s how many times you get back up.

“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that don’t work.” -Thomas Edison

If we allow ourselves to become discouraged during the process we may give up right before we reach our goal. How sad it would be to go through the learning curve and then never experience the benefits of our new knowledge.

That’s the difference between success and failure for a leader.  Here are additional differences.
  1. Success has momentum.  Failure has obstacles.
  2. Success increases morale.  Failure hurts morale.
  3. Success enhances teamwork.  Failure breeds selfishness.
  4. Success finds opportunities.  Failure limits options.
  5. Success attracts people and resources.  Failure has limited resources.
  6. Success validates leadership.  Failure results in changes in leadership.
  7. Success is not necessarily permanent.  Failure is not necessarily permanent.
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.
Sir Winston Churchill

It is wise to keep in mind that neither success nor failure is ever final.
Roger Babson

we should only think what is wrong , so that it will not repeat in the future. we have to stick with our process till the success is reach. Before success we have to face so many failures so we should prepare for that.

In business there is always a chance to loss but we have to take all the steps very carefully because in business we can,t survive if do mistakes repeatedly.Getting success in business may be late for this we should prepare.lastly the important thing is : Start the business small.

                                    The Art Of Listening...

The more listening you do, the smarter you will become , the better you will be liked, and the better business you will do.God has given us two ears and one mouth , it means we should listen twice than speak.
It is also said that silence is diamond. not only in business but also in our daily life listening is very much important.
Here i want to give some situation showing how listening help us in our day to day life and make us more friendly, more sincere, more obedient, and make others to feel we are so good in nature.

1In  class room if your listening the teacher assumes you are the most obedient student in the class.

2.With your friends, while they are discussing some topic if u listen with out any intervention they think you r giving the love and respect to him.you become a true friend.

3.With your loved one , while she/ he saying something to you if u listen then she/he will think u not only love her/him very much  but also care u soo much.

4.In a Group meeting or Interview if u mange to listen properly then u will definitely get some edge over others.

5.In a case of argument listen is the only best solution.

There so many situation in which by showing that you are listening u can create a great impression.

I think what ever written  above every body know all these.
Now i am saying some true  and practical thing about listening :

    •   Its one of the most difficult thing in the world
    •    After listening 10 min. our mind need a rest of 20 min.
    •     Its not possible to listen continuously with full of attention.

Do you want some tricks so that without listening to the person you can give the massage that u r  listening with full of concentration.

TRICKS TO SHOW OTHERS THAT YOU ARE LISTENING:::

    • LOOK AT THE PERSON WHO IS TALKING.
    • LEAN TOWARDS THE SPEAKER.
    • ASK QUESTIONS.
    • STICK TO SPEAKER'S SUBJECT AND DON'T INTERRUPT.
    • USE THE SPEAKER'S WORDS -'YOUR' ..'YOU'

    Thank You

May lord give you all............that u pray to him.......
